Center Greenhouse Zone
The center is the greenhouse’s airflow and humidity mixing corridor. It has active hanging Vanda orchids, the AquaFog XE 2000, center misters, and center clean/fert wetting paths. It does not have a dedicated climate probe, so control and reporting use derived greenhouse context plus center crop/VPD target policy.
Center Vandas are active crop records and contribute to current crop/VPD target calculation.
No dedicated center probe; center conditions are estimated from the greenhouse air mass.
Defaults to activity +120 min through activity off -180 min.

Control Role
Firmware does not contain Vanda-specific logic. Center behavior is expressed through generic controls:
activity_start_hour,activity_start_minute, andactivity_duration_minmirror the main light runtime policy.direct_wet_center_start_offset_minanddirect_wet_center_drydown_before_off_mindefine the center wettable window.direct_wet_min_temp_fblocks automated direct wetting when the house is too cold.irrig_center_days_maskandirrig_center_fert_days_maskschedule center watering and fertigation days.
With the current 06:00-22:00 activity window, center direct wetting is normally permitted from 08:00 to 19:00, subject to temperature, climate demand, irrigation schedule, water budget, and relay interlocks.

Sensors
No sensors assigned to this zone.
Leaf wetness, root wetness, and PAR at hanging height are roadmap sensors. Until then, center drydown is verified through time windows, runtime evidence, and visual checks.

Center wetting paths are direct-wet gated. Fertigation additionally requires the fert master valve and the center fert day/schedule decision.
Airflow Role
Air enters through the north vent and house-side exchange path.
The fog machine blows north-to-south while center misters and wetting paths add moisture when allowed.
Two fans pull conditioned air toward the 4,900 CFM exhaust end.
